FAQs

Have a question about the Toodlelou Creativity Lab? Want to learn more about us? Take a look at these FAQs but if there’s something you’re wondering about that isn’t included, send us an email- we’d love to hear from you!

Q: Can my little one attend classes as a drop-in?

A: Absolutely. Want to try out a class before booking a block of classes? Try any of our classes at anytime as a drop in, there’s always room for more πŸ™‚

Q: I love the sound of your classes but can’t choose just one. Is there a way to choose different classes week to week?

A: There certainly is. We know how busy kids (and parents) schedules can be, so we’ve created Class Punch Cards for Over 5s and Under 5s. These allow you to attend a class as a drop-in, are good for 5 classes, work out at the same per class rate as if you were booking a block, with give you total flexibility to attend classes when it suits. Just visit our classes page to read more.

Q: If my older child is taking a class, can my younger one stay with me? Is there anything for them to do?

A: Absolutely. We’ve set up a play area in the Lab that’s filled with engaging toys to keep little ones busy. They are also most welcome to avail of our giant chalkboard, colouring pages and simple art supplies if they feel like getting crafty πŸ™‚ The same goes for older kids, if it’s your little one taking the class! Art supplies from our wall of maker shelves will be open to them to use.

Q: Can I drop off my little one at your class, or do I have to stay?

A: We encourage parents to drop-off kids ages 5 and over, but ask that you stay with kids younger than 5.

Q: Does Toodlelou offer sibling discounts?

A: Yes. When checking out, enter the following discount codes:

  • SECONDCHILD
Applies a 20% discount to the cost of the second child
  • THIRDCHILD
Applies a 40% discount to the cost of the third child

Discounts apply to all classes unless another discount has already been applied.

Q: Is there coffee or tea?

A: We know how much parents need a coffee or tea, so yes, we certainly do! Parents are free to make themselves a cuppa.

Q: Does Toodlelou offer school visits and workshops?

A: We certainly do. Toodlelou has delivered workshops in primary schools, special schools, community centres and festivals for the past 5 years. If you’d like to hear more about having Toodlelou visit your school, community group or event just email us at info@toodlelou.ie to enquire.

Q: Will Toodlelou come to my home for a child’s birthday party?

A: You bet! While the Creativity Lab is an ideal spot to host a party, and having us host means you don’t need to clean up (!), if you prefer to have the party at home, that’s no problem. We’ll bring along everything we need for the chosen party theme and deliver the workshop at your place.
